Today, May 28, is National Burger Day. And according to a new survey from YouGov, 73% of Americans like burgers and 40% of that number prefer them well done. As a matter of fact, only 2% like them rare.

The most common toppings people like to throw on their burgers? Ketchup, lettuce, tomatoes and onions are all near the top of the list. The burger topping that is Numero Uno? If you guessed CHEESE, you're correct. Cheese is the #1 choice for Americans when it comes to burger toppings.

In honor of National Burger Day, we'd like to hear from you. What restaurant serves up your favorite burger(or served up if that place is no longer around)? And it doesn't even have to be a ham burger. It could be a turkey burger...or a veggie burger. Or maybe you don't have a favorite burger from a restaurant, but rather you prefer yours cooked at home right on the grill...ummmm, delicious. I have many picks myself, but I'll go with The Lantern on North Street, and the old Bonanza restaurant that used to be in Allendale. Those are two of my favorite places to get a burger.

What about you? Head to our Facebook page and share your opinions. Where do you get your favorite burger from and what do you like on it? It doesn't even have to be somewhere local. We'd love to hear from you.
