Whether you believe UFO's are a real thing or not, the most recent report of a sighting took place right here in Berkshire County.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center's website, a UFO sighting was reported in North Adams. And this wasn't a flashing light, according to the report. The sighting took place for a duration of 20 minutes.

The report was made on Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. and was posted on the website six days later.

"Circular object moving back and forth across (the) sky, at times hovering," the description states. "Flying low in high winds. Lights all around changed colors from red, green, blue and white. At times (the object) was loud then would go silent."

According to the NURC, there have been 2,078 reported sightings in Massachusetts. Prior to the sighting in North Adams, the last reported UFO sighting took place in Great Barrington in April on the campus of Simon's Rock. This particular sighting, according to the report, was seen by four people.

There was a separate sighting that took place in Great Barrington a year prior -- but that one seems a little farfetched since the report states that the witness woke up with a "bleeding hole" in his/her neck. The NURC reached out to the witness to provide proof of the neck wound and it doesn't seem like they received that confirmation. A second sighting was reported in 2017 in Williamstown on Oct. 20.
