This week the North Adams Planning Board approved the retooling for 856 and 858 State Road at the Stop & Shop Plaza according to an article on iBerkshires.com.  The space will be transformed into an urgent care facility once occupied by the Draper's Wine & Spirits and Papa John's Pizza.  The two spaces will be converted into one.
If this ClearCHoiceMD is operated to reflect the business model of the dozen+ other urgent care centers owned by the same company throughout New England, the center will operate seven days a week from 8 am til 8 pm and treat minor injuries and illnesses as well as COVID-19 testing
With two members of the Planning Board abstaining the board approved the urgent care center.    ClearChoiceMD  launched in 2014 by emergency medical physician Dr. Marcus Hamper, who wanted to provide a safe and less expensive outpatient treatment option according to the iBerkshire.com article.
