When will it snow in the Berkshires?
The first signs of winter have started to occur in the Berkshires'. Many locations have seen their first snowflakes or flurries of the season. Although we have yet to see any accumulation, you could hear the sighs of dread of things to come and some joy for those who love winter in the Berkshires.
Are you ready for some snow? The National Weather Service is predicting a little more snow for the state than previously forecasted. This looks like more of a coastal storm with most of Central and Eastern Massachusetts (other than Cape Cod) projected for 4-6 inches, The Berkshires’ could get a dusting up to 3 inches. More snow is predicated for Monday Night into Tuesday.
Both the Old Farmer’s Almanac and AccuWeather are predicting a snowy and cold winter in the Northeast, but so far it’s been it’s been warmer and drier than normal for this time of year. It looks like things are about to change.
