The Berkshires can expect 4 to 6 inches from the latest storm impacting the area today through tomorrow. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 4pm tomorrow. Light snow will begin early this afternoon with off and on light snow through the afternoon tomorrow.

Since December 1^st the area has seen 49 days of at least flurries. Since January 1^st the area has been subject to 34 days of at least flurry activity. Snowfall for the region is around 49 inches of snow which is an increase of almost 10% of the average snow fall total for the year.
