Winterfest Is Back This Weekend In North Adams

Winterfest is back this weekend North Adams!

Shake off the winter blues, gather together the family and friends and have fun, there really is something for everyone. Events are happening all over North Adams!

One of my favorites is the Chowder competition, oh yes I will be there!

All events are free

SATURDAY, FEB. 17TH, DOWNTOWN

10 am – 4pm | fun in the snow @ Colegrove Park & ice sculpting @ Main/Eagle/Holden Streets

10 am – 3 pm | winter farmer & artisan market @66 Main Street (old Sleepy’s space)

10 am-Noon | Free movie at the North Adams Public Library, “Cool Runnings”

10 am-Noon | hot cocoa, cookies & face painting @ MountainOne Bank Lobby

Noon – 2 pm | chowder competition @ 85 Main Street & community campfire @ Holden & Main

1 – 3 pm | horse-drawn wagon rides (line starts in front of MountainOne Bank

2 – 4 pm | ice skating & FREE skate rentals @ the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Skating Rink, 1267 Church Street, N.Adams, MA.

SUNDAY, FEB. 18TH, WINDSOR LAKE
Come to  Windsor Lake, located at 200 Windsor Lake
Road (corner of Kemp & Bradley) for a day outdoors!

Beginning at 10 am
You to spend the day sledding & tubing the hills,
building snow creatures, tossing snowballs, and exploring
the trails around the lake by snowshoe, boot, or cross
country ski.

Also in the afternoon there will be a campfire and hot cocoa at
the Historic Valley Campground beach from 2-4 pm.
