A popular lead singer, songwriter from Western Mass has put his million-dollar home up for sale.  Aaron Lewis from the popular rock band Staind has hung a for sale sign on his Worthington Estate.

The house is listed through William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty for 3.5 million dollars.  The estate is over 14,000 square feet and sits on just over 12 acres at 184 Cudworth Road in Worthington Mass.  A small town with a population of a little over 1,000 townies.

The home features four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, three half baths, an office, game room, and an Olympic-sized saltwater pool.  The estate has many other features including a barn with an apartment, commercial-grade generator and a fishing pond.

Lewis has owned the property since 2001 and It is believed that the past owner was also a famous western Mass artist…the creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  The current price of 3.5 million places it on the top spot of homes for sale in Hampshire County.

Lewis’ band Staind played the local Springfield scene in the mid 90s and gained popularly in 1999 and the early 2000’s with commercial hits ‘Mudshovel”…“It’s Been A While”…’Outside” and others until Lewis disappeared from the rock world and launched a successful solo county career in 2010.

Apparently Lewis no longer needs a place to crash in Mass as the focus of Lewis’ county career keeps him in Nashville most of the time.
