Okay everybody, crank it up and sing along, "And a little bit of chicken fried/Cold beer on a Friday night/A pair of jeans that fit just right"...If you love the Zac Brown Band(and I know many of you do), you'll not only recognize those lyrics from the Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried", but you'll be happy to learn that Zac and the crew are going to be taking the stage at Fenway Park!

After a 14-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Zac Brown Band is finally returning to touring. According to CBSN/Channel 4 Boston, the band is scheduled to play Fenway on August 8 as part of "The Comeback Tour" which kicks off in New Jersey on August 5.

Making the stop with the Zac Brown Band will be special guests Teddy Swims and Ashland Craft. Zac Brown recently said in a statement:

We couldn't be more excited to get back out on the road and share our new music with our fans. It's been a long, difficult year for everyone and we're fired up to be reuniting with our crew, get back on tour, and celebrate a brand new world.

And here's something you may not be aware of even if you're a Zac Brown Band fan. The band may be loved all over the globe, but they're especially loved in Boston. The band has the distinct honor of having the most consecutive sold-out shows at Fenway Park.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at noon for the general public. Welcome back to the road, gentlemen. You have been most definitely missed! By the way, other acts scheduled to play Fenway this summer include Billy Joel, Guns n' Roses, and Boston's very own native sons, Aerosmith.
