Bruin David Pastrnak Announces Death Of Newborn Son
Tragic news. Boston Bruins right winger David Pastrnak announced the death of his newborn son on Monday morning.
CBS Boston reports the hockey star says his son Viggo Rohl Pastrnak passed away just six days after his birth. Pastrnak, in a post on his Instagram page, wrote, "We have an Angel watching over us and we call him SON. You will be loved FOREVER...Please respect our privacy as we are going through these heartbreaking times."

It was just back in January when Pastrnak and his girlfriend Rebecca Rohlsson said they were expecting a baby. After that announcement was made, NESN bestowed the nickname #BabyPasta.
Viggo Pastrnak was born on June 17 and passed away just days later on June 23. He was Pasternak's first child. David, I have no idea the terrible amount of grief and loss you're going through now but you and Rebecca are in our thoughts and prayers.
