Today U.S. District Judge Indira Tawani denied lifting the temporary ban on vaping issued last month by Mass Governor Baker claiming a public health emergency.

The attorney representing a number of vaping companies failed to file the proper paperwork forcing the judge to delay any action.

A deadline has been set for Friday for amended paperwork to be filed.  Following the state’s response, the judge will make a decision whether or not to start discovery in the case.

Don’t expect to be able to purchase vape legally anytime soon.  The lawyer for the vaping companies hopes for the case to be heard in the next 60 days.

The temporary ban on all nicotine and weed products and devices extends through January 25th of next year.
