Whoa, are we getting cynical and honest?

According to a new, uplifting study, the majority of Americans admit that they'd rather marry someone for money over love.

A little over half of the people say that marrying someone who, quote, "provides financial security" is more important than marrying someone because they're, quote, "head over heels" in love.

And there wasn't much of a difference between men and women saying money beats love it was 54% of men and 57% of women.

But even though money is such a key factor we sure do put off bringing it up.

The study found that most people do things like meeting someone's parents, traveling together, having sex for the first time, and discussing politics before they ask about the other person's debt and spending habits.
