One Vehicle Accident In North Adams Monday Afternoon 5/11

UPDATE: Theodore Stachura was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

A distraction compromised Stachura's ability to operate the pickup, which is owned by Berkshire County Construction, Wood said.

NAFD, NAPD, and Northern Berkshire EMS responded to a one-truck MVA on Church Street in front of the Vietnam Veterans Rink at 12:12 pm.

A utility pole was severed and the vehicle stopped on the guardrail. No one was injured or transported to the ED. The road was closed to all traffic.
