What do you mean you can’t smoke weed in court?

Tell that to Spencer Boston who was in a Tennessee court this week facing a possession charge from a small quantity of pot.

While in court explaining to the judge why weed should be legalized, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a joint and sparked it up.

Spencer got a couple of tokes in before court security realized what was happening and escorted him out of the courtroom.

On the way out he shouted ‘The people deserve better!”

Mr. Boston is now facing additional charges of disorderly conduct and simple possession of marijuana. In addition, the judge held him in contempt of court and he is now serving 10 days in the pokey on the contempt charge.

Instead of a joint he might want to pop a couple of edibles instead when he is back in court in in April.
