Snow Overnight Tonight in the Berkshires

The weekend's forecast is expected to drop a coating to 1-inches of snow in some areas of the Berkshires overnight.  Although the most of the precipitation is expected to end early in the morning on Saturday, it will be windy and cold.  Not great news for anyone that has already done some spring planting.  Mother’s Day will not deliver a beautiful day for mom’s but it will be a little better that what we can expect of Saturday.

Today: some sun, then turning cloudy and cool; a couple of showers this afternoon with a high of 54.

Tonight: temperatures falling to near the record of 25 with periods of rain changing to snow.  Areas of the Berkshires could get a dusting to 2" inches of snow by morning.

Saturday: winds becoming strong; clouds and sun with a couple of rain or snow showers, colder with a high of 42 degrees.

Saturday Night: mainly clear with a cold wind; there will be a freeze with a low of 30.

Sunday: mostly cloudy, winds gradually subsiding and cold with a high of 53 degrees.
