Enjoy the sun and warm temperatures today, but don’t put away the winter coats, gloves or shovel just yet.

Following record setting warmth today, cool and mild air will take turns through the end of February in the Berkshires.

The record for this day according to AccuWeather was 62 set in 1953, we’ve beat that by almost 10 degrees.  However after today, put away the shorts and t-shirts, much colder air and a chance from some snow returns to the Berkshires tomorrow.

Expect a change in the weather patterns for early March, which will bring a return of colder weather.  Will this mean anymore big storms for us? Most of the storms that move through are likely to bring rain and little or no snow and ice.

You know the old saying here in the Berkshires, if you don’t like the weather, just wait it will change before you know and boy is that true this week.
