According to MassDOT, road crews will be working on guardrail repairs and steel repairs along the Mass Pike in Lee, Otis, and Becket throughout the week.
Mass DOT will be getting back to road and bridge work along the Mass Pike. And a lot of the road work will definitely take place in some Berkshire County towns.
They are planning on looking at four of the six cancer types evaluated previously in a 2002 report: breast cancer, liver cancer, and non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Reportedly, epidemiological literature shows some evidence of association of these cancers with exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBs.
For towns that have a population below 10,000, the state considers any community with more than 25 total cases in the past two-week period to be at high risk for transmission.
