The 4th of July Holiday Forecast for the Berkshires

The 4^th of July weekend outlook in the Berkshires will be a mix of clouds, sun and shower or thunderstorm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Friday the high will be in the upper 70s and Saturday and Sunday highs will be in the low 80s with some increased humidity.  The chance of showers or heavy thunder storms exist all weekend.  With the lack of rain last month grass and brush are still dry so take extra caution if you are using you fire pit this weekend.  Keep you fire under control and have a hose or water source nearby.  Also keep in mind that fireworks in Mass are illegal and a major source of fires.  Below is the latest forecast from AccuWeather, the WUPE Weather partner.

Today: Sun with some clouds and humid with a high of 86 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Tonight: Partly cloudy and humid with a low of 65 degrees.  Chance of precipitation is 25 percent.

Friday: Humid with partial sunshine; a couple of showers and a heavy thunderstorm in the afternoon.  A high of 78. Chance of precipitation is 66 percent.

Friday Night: An evening thunderstorm; otherwise, low clouds a low of 57. Chance of precipitation is 52 percent.

Saturday the 4^th of July: Intervals of clouds and sunshine with a passing shower or two with a high of 80 degrees. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm in some areas.  Chance of precipitation is 54 percent.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy overnight with a low of 58 degrees.  Chance of precipitation is 14 percent.

Sunday: Times of clouds and sun with a thunderstorm in spots in the afternoon with a high of 82 degrees.  Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Sunday Night: Clear to partly cloudy with a low of 59 degrees.  Chance of precipitation is 12 percent.

Wednesday: Times of clouds and sun with a couple of showers and thunderstorms possible; humid with an expect a high of 86 degrees.   Chance of precipitation is 35 percent.

Wednesday Night: Partly Cloudy: with a low of 64 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 25 percent.
