For those who don't know PopCares and what they do in the community:

Mission Statement
We have all been touched by cancer in some way and many have struggled with the day to day reality of the disease. PopCares can offer support to those who are battling cancer so that no one has to fight this disease alone.

Please help them in making a difference in the lives of those who are fighting cancer in our community.

Who We Are
PopCares Inc was established in honor and memory of Bill “Pop” St. Pierre who taught us all the importance of sharing small acts of kindness with others on a daily basis. Pop and his family were fortunate to have the support of each other as well as friends during his battle with cancer. It is the mission of PopCares Inc to ensure that every person fighting cancer and their caregiver in our local community has the opportunity to benefit from that same level of support.

Chicken Dinner and Virtual Auction

Drive-Thru Chicken Dinner: Monday, October 5th, Bounti-Fare Restaurant
Online Auction: Beginning Monday, October 5th 5:00pm – Friday, October 9th 10:00pm
To Our Community and Supporters,

PopCares is holding their 9th Annual Chicken Dinner and Auction is going virtual this year. While they will miss the support, camaraderie, and energy that our annual event brings to our community we cannot in good conscience plan to hold the event in person as the health and safety of our community has always been at the forefront of who we are.

PopCares also recognizes that many of our supporters are local small businesses that have been impacted by the loss of revenue due to closing or reducing their businesses to keep us all safe.

While it would be easy to cancel this event, we have also heard from many of you that you would like to help especially since we have had to cancel several of our other regular fundraising events.

Our hope is that we can offer you an epic event that will include a variety of opportunities to show your support for PopCares:

1. We first ask for your support in creating a unique online auction consisting of items that will not require our small business community to extend themselves during this trying time.

PopCares hope is to collect baskets, handmade items, or other creative items that individuals, groups, families, and/or coworkers can put together to make up their online auction.

2. When the PopCares auction goes live at 5:00pm on Monday, October 5th, check out the items and bid, bid, bid!

The link to the auction will be on our Facebook page, website, or sent by email upon request.

3. Purchase tickets to participate in our drive-thru dinner to kick-off this event.

We thank you for your continued support and for helping us make a difference in the lives of those who are fighting cancer in our community.
