The CDC Says We Should All Stop Vaping Immediately Until People Stop Dying
If you're vaping because you think it's better for you than smoking, well it is not.
The CDC issued an urgent alert on Friday telling Americans to stop vaping immediately.
There have been approximately 450 cases of a mysterious lung disease reported in 33 states, with at least five deaths and it's all being attributed to vaping.
An 18-year-old named Adam Hergenreder ended up in the hospital, and he's still recovering from it. Here he is with his mom.
No one's quite sure what's causing the outbreak, but the CDC thinks there might be some chemical that's doing it possibly the vitamin E in a lot of the oils.
Until they figure out what it is, the CDC says, quote, "People should consider not using e-cigarette products."
