With isolation, social distancing, home schooling, paranoia and all the rain we’ve endured this week, all of it has certainly added to the doom and gloom mindset of many of us.

This weekend the clouds are expected to roll out and sun will greet us Saturday morning along with seasonal temperatures.  The weather change should help brighten the moods of all of us living in the Berkshires.

According to AccuWeather, the official weather source of WUPE, we can expect the weather pattern to change overnight Friday into Saturday.

The Forecast…

Friday night showers will continue off and on with a temperature of 50 degrees.  Clearing begins on the overnight Friday into Saturday with a low of 43.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 64 degrees.  Saturday night expect some clouds to overtake the area with 25% chance of showers with a low of 44 degrees overnight.

Sunday the sun will be fighting to show through clouds throughout the day but the temps will eclipse Saturday’s high with the temperature expected to reach close to 70 degrees.

Although many state parks and recreational area remain closed, take advantage of early May weather with a walk, bike ride, some gardening, or just set up in your back yard and feel the sun on your face from the comfort of your lawn chair.  Whatever your outside activity, remember to continue to not gather in large groups and social distance when encountering family, friends and neighbors.  Enjoy the fresh air!
