The lone national movie chain in the Berkshires will reopen nationwide in July.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that Regal Cinemas, which owns the 10-theater complex in the Berkshire Mall in Lanesborough, plans to reopen by July 10th with new safety precautions, pending local and statewide guidelines.

 

 

Also in Pittsfield looks like the Beacon Cinema will be opening on July 10. on the Pheonix website, there is this message from owner Cory Booker.

The health and well-being of our guests, employees, and communities is a top priority. It is extremely important that we have all of the complex safety, sanitization, and physical distancing procedures in place before reopening. We will continue to keep everyone updated. Please, take the time to read through the guidelines below to better understand the actions we are taking to safely reopen Phoenix Theatres. Thank you for your cooperation to help create a safe environment for everyone.

The North Adams Movie Plex had no information on their website when they will reopen. They did however on their Facebook page have this message.theatres/ Google maps
