Police are investigating the threat, made sometime after 7 a.m., and say there currently is no danger to anyone on campus.

The Great Barrington Police have been made aware of a threat at the campus of Bard College at Simons Rock. The campus is currently on lockdown and appropriate emergency and investigative personnel are on scene.

Further information will be released at a later time.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that Great Barrington Police Chief Paul Storti said;

"Right now I'm just trying to make sure everybody’s safe over there and that’s priority number one, who could not provide further details on the threat."

Police are still investigating and that officers on the scene. The department soon posted about the incident on Facebook and said more information would be released later.
