Farm Aid Returns to Hartford this Fall. Willie, Neil, John and Dave Headline the Bill…
The 2021 Farm Aid concert has been announced. The event first organized by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 and still raises money to help America’s farmers 35-years later. This year’s Farm Aid event will take place on Saturday, September 25th at the Xfinity Theater in Hartford and of course will feature Willie along with other Farm Aid veterans Neil Young and John Mellencamp. Also on the bill will be Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds and Margo Price. A host of other performers will round out the long day of great music.
Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, July 23rd at Live Nation.com. Tickets range in price from $65 to $305. According to the Farm Aid website their mission has not changed their mission since 1985… “Farm Aid works year-round to build a system of agriculture that values family farmers, good food, soil and water, and strong communities. Our annual music and food festival celebrates farmers, eaters, and music coming together for change”.
If you are a local farmer in need of assistance you can reach out to Farm Aid through their website at farmaid.org. Farm Aid is an organization set up to help family farmers and those just getting into farming.
