Coffee is cultivated in over 70 countries according to Wikipedia. Brazil is the leading grower of coffee beans accounting for 35% of the world’s beans.  There are two types of coffee bean commonly grown.  Arabica coffee is the most common bean and the name is derived from “coffee of the shrub” also know as mountain grown.  The other is Robusta coffee made from beans of the plant Coffea canephora.  Its bean is less acidic but has a bitterness characteristic to it.
