On Saturday, dozens of Berkshire County residents headed over to Onota Lake for the 2017 Poultry Plunge. The event raised money for the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Massachusetts and is put on by the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

At 11:00 a.m., the plungers made the dash into the waters of the lake to get freezin' for a reason. One of the many who took part in the festivities was Live 95.9 brand manager and morning show host Bryan Slater from Slater and Marjo in the morning.

If you were not able to make it to the lake on Saturday morning, Live 95.9 was there to capture the plunge in its entirety. Watch the video below and subscribe to our brand new YouTube channel.

Also, a big shout out to all of the Super Plungers who headed into the lake  once an hour for 24 hours straight. The next event for Special Olympics Massachusetts is the annual Cop on Top, which takes place on Dec. 2 at the Pittsfield Walmart.
