On Sunday there were two different accounts of Bridget Osgood's final days from the husband and boyfriend of the woman found dead in a river on Sunday..

The Bennington Banner is reporting thatTony Osgood, the estranged husband of Bridget Osgood, posted on social media Wednesday that the 45-year-old Bennington woman was last seen at her boyfriend's house the night before her body was found.

Tony Osgood wrote on facebook,

She disappeared from her boyfriend's house Saturday night, she lived with him, We have not been together for months.

Tony Osgood's Facebook posts was written to counter negative talk about him.

Bridget Osgood's boyfriend told the Banner they broke up and she moved out of his house last Monday, which was six days before her body was found.

He declined to be named, while Tony Osgood hasn't responded to multiple messages asking for an interview.

Bennington police have described the case as a "suspicious death," and are using homicide investigative tools and procedures though the death hasn't been ruled a homicide.

The Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy Monday, and toxicology testing which could inform the cause and manner of death.

In the meantime, investigators are looking into electronic information, such as social media and cellphone records.
