Pittsfield Street Improvement Schedule Through June 22
In an effort to keep Pittsfield residents aware and in the know, the City of Pittsfield and the Mayor's Office have sent us some information regarding the 2022 Street Improvement Project that we'd like to pass along to you.
You may want to avoid the following areas/streets or at least allow yourself extra time for your morning and afternoon commute. Differing types of road improvements will occur on the following streets over the course of the following weekdays:
- Thursday, June 16: milling on Barker Road.
- Friday, June 17: shim pave on Barker Road.
- Monday, June 20: Top course on Barker Road.
- Tuesday, June 21: Shim pave on Churchill Street.
- Wednesday, June 22: Top course on Churchill Street
This, of course, will impact traffic and may cause considerable delays. The city of Pittsfield wants to thank you for your patience while these street improvements are underway.
Keep in mind that Mother Nature, as she often does, may interfere with the preceding schedule. Weather conditions, however minor, can sometimes dictate changes to the schedule.
