The Dalton Police Department is reminding residents of the town's parking ban that will go into effect on Sunday, November 15th.  The ban limits on street parking between 1 AM and 6 AM.  No vehicles are allowed to park on either side of any road.

Dalton Police warn that any violators will be subject to a ticket and fine.  If the violation occurs during inclement weather, vehicles impeding snow removal will be towed at the owners’ expense.  The parking ban goes into effect Sunday and will be in effect through April 15th.  If you have any questions on the ban you are urged to contact the Dalton Police Department at 413-684-0300.

Parking bans are already in effect in a number Berkshire County cities and towns.

Reminder of Winter Parking Ban

The Dalton Police Department is reminding residents that beginning on November 15, 2020, there is no on street parking allowed between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., per the Town of Dalton Traffic Code, Section 4-2. Any violators of this Traffic Code will be issued a parking ticket. No vehicles are allowed to be parked on the side of any roads, including tree/street lines, during this time period. Any vehicles found to be in violation of this Traffic Code may be towed at the owner’s expense if found to be impeding snow removal. The winter parking ban will be in effect until April 15, 2021.
